Whether you are just starting out or looking to expand an existing business, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh offers a variety of classes and events that are sure to be of interest to you. Attend in person or virtually. You will get an overview of various business topics as well as demonstrations of our online business resources.

Offerings include:

• Business Plans - Learn the essential parts of a business plan and what goes into them. We look at sample business plans, discuss strategies for industry research, and explore how to integrate an industry report into your business plan.
• How to Create a Client and Marketing List - This class covers the use of our database software to construct targeted and efficient client and marketing lists. We discuss how to use the data from your industry and market research to inform the construction of your lists.
• Small Business Research - Starting or growing your business requires a lot of information. Demographics, competitors, market analysis, financials, and company contacts can all be essential parts of your business planning. This is a crash course in our online business resources.  See what they offer and how they work.
