Music: STACKS - Streaming Music from Pittsburgh

This guide provides an overview of resources from the Music Department at CLP. We have books, printed music, sound recordings, databases, special collections and musical instruments.

STACKS - Streaming Pittsburgh Music

STACKS is an online platform that showcases and shares current music from Pittsburgh musicians and bands for free. Anyone can stream albums and, with a library card, you can download your favorite tracks.

Stream music in the STACKS collection via the embedded web player. Simply click on a track to start listening.

Share Your Music!

STACKS is curated by a jury of CLP staff and local music community members. Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will open the window for submissions once per year. Artists submit their work via an online form.

To see when work can be submitted, look for announcements from the Library, associated community partners and social media sites, including FacebookX (Twitter), and Instagram.

Email stacks@carnegielibrary.org with any questions.
