Music: STACKS - Streaming Music from Pittsburgh

This guide provides an overview of resources from the Music Department at CLP. We have books, printed music, sound recordings, databases, special collections and musical instruments.

Streaming Pittsburgh Music

STACKS is an online platform from Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP) that showcases current music from the Pittsburgh area. Music in the STACKS collection is free to stream via the embedded web player. Simply click on a track to start listening.

Music tracks can be downloaded and saved to devices with a CLP library card. Pick up a card at any CLP location – or register online at the CLP website.

Email stacks@carnegielibrary.org with any questions or comments.

Share Your Music!

The Library wants to hear your music! You can submit your work to STACKS during the next open submissions window for a chance to join 300+ local artists.

Once a year, CLP solicits musical entries from local performing musicians.

Look for announcements for the next open submission window on the CLP website and social media sites, including FacebookX (Twitter), and Instagram.

STACKS is curated by a jury of CLP staff and local music community members.
